Cracker Candy

- 40 Saltines
- 2 sticks butter
- 1 cup light brown sugar
- 12 oz. milk chocolate chips
- Chopped nuts, if desired
Heat oven to 400 degrees. Line a jelly roll pan with foil; place the saltines on pan, set aside. Melt butter, add brown sugar; bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Boil 3 minutes, continuing to stir. Pour over saltines, spread evenly. Bake for 5 minutes, then sprinkle chips on top. As soon as they are melted, spread evenly. Cool, invert, remove foil, cut into squares. Store in refrigerator.
