2007 OAR Leadership
Oklahoma Association of REALTORS Leadership Class
In February, fourteen REALTORS® with different specialties gathered at Quartz Mountain Resort to begin their journey in the 2007 LeadershipOAR program. The 2007 Class of LeadershipOAR includes: Kristy Balch, McAlester; Lori Cain, Tulsa; Chuck Harris, Oklahoma City; John Louis Hausam, Tulsa; Jay Kinder, Lawton; Claudette Lamb, Stillwater; Jim Miller, Oklahoma City; Mike Morel, Oklahoma City; Geoff Patterson, Tulsa; Jerri Saliba, Tulsa; Todd Thornton, Bartlesville; Lisa Weaver, Enid; and Donna Willis, Weatherford.
This year-long program consists of five retreats at various locations throughout the state, each tailored specifically with a REALTOR® perspective. Retreat 1 focused on the participants getting to know themselves and each other and learning about their group project for the year. Throughout the three days, a variety of speakers and special guests met with the group including: Instructor Vicki Anderson, OAR CEO Lisa Yates, LeadershipOAR Board of Governors Chairman Peggy Pitts, OAR Past President John Jones, Altus REALTOR® Michelle Coe, District 2 Vice President Arvella Wall and Altus Association Executive Nelta Law.
LeadershipOAR Facilitator Theresa Stewart says, "We have a great group of participants for LeadershipOAR. We have a full-capacity class of REALTORS® from across the state with diverse experience and backgrounds. They have already shown leadership growth and the desire to be leaders in our Industry. It promises to be an exciting group."
